Susan Paley Zak

As Dise & Company’s Executive Vice President of Executive Recruiting since 2004, Susan Paley Zak leverages her wide network of contacts in business, professional and nonprofit communities to recruit outstanding executive talent for her clients. Susan brings entrepreneurial zeal to everything she touches. 

She founded and led Corporate Connection; a professional talent placement service offered by Jewish Vocational Service. It achieved national recognition as an entrepreneurial, fee-based venture housed in a nonprofit agency generating crucial unrestricted funds for its parent organization. 

Leading Corporate Connection put Susan in contact with influential leaders in business and nonprofit sectors with whom she continues to work. She has also worked as a senior consultant and executive recruiter for a financial services firm and Director of Development for a $13-million-nonprofit. 

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Susan is a Certified Personnel Consultant, a professional designation representing the technical skills of executive recruiters. 

She serves on the board of the Cleveland Jewish Publication Company, The Cleveland Arts Prize and has also served on the board of the Contemporary Art Society of the Cleveland Museum of Art and on ideastream’s Community Advisory Board. Susan is a member of the Network of Nonprofit Search Consultants, a professional organization comprised of leading nonprofit search consultants in the United States and Canada.
